Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how West Palm Beach Tech Happy Hour LLC (“WPB Tech Happy Hour,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit wpbtechhappyhour.com, register for or attend our events, or contact us.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, company, website, and anything else you include when you use our contact or sponsorship forms, apply to pitch or speak, volunteer, or email us.
- Registration information: when you register through Luma, Eventbrite or a similar platform, that platform shares your name, email, ticket and check-in details, and any answers to registration questions with us.
- At events: name tags, our attendee directory if you choose to join it, giveaway entries, and photos and video taken at the event.
- Site usage: our Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and reliability. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address under Google’s privacy policy.
How we use information
- To run events: manage registrations and check-in, plan capacity, and communicate event details and changes.
- To send our event announcements and recaps. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To review pitch, speaker, sponsor and volunteer applications and respond to messages.
- To promote our community, including publishing event photos (see our Terms of Use).
- To keep our events and Site safe and to comply with the law.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run events and communications (for example, ticketing, email and web hosting), who may use it only to provide those services.
- With an event’s sponsors, but only if you choose to share your details with them (for example, by opting in during registration, scanning a sponsor’s QR code, or joining our attendee directory).
- With pitch-night judges and investors, for founders who apply to pitch.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our attendees, venues or us.
- With a successor organization if WPB Tech Happy Hour is reorganized, merged or transferred, subject to this Policy.
Third-party platforms
Luma, Eventbrite, LinkedIn, Instagram and other platforms we use have their own privacy policies, which govern the information you give them directly.

We keep contact and attendance records for as long as you remain part of our community or as needed for the purposes above, and delete or anonymize them when they are no longer needed.
